A majority of health care companies polled by UPS have identified regulatory compliance as the leading concern for global supply chains. The study, which surveyed 441 health care executives in Asia, Canada, Western Europe, Latin America and the U.S., also identified product protection and new consumer demands as major priorities. "Healthcare companies are balancing a number of priorities related to capturing business growth opportunities in new markets, protecting increasingly sophisticated and high-value products and navigating a complex regulatory environment worldwide," Bill Hook, UPS Healthcare Logistics' vice president of global strategy said.
