Education advocate and former superintendent Tom Vander Ark in this blog post suggests states should require colleges, which typically issue state licenses for school administrators, to seek re-accreditation and revamp their programs to include best practices for training principals. Among the best practices Vander Ark highlights are personalized or blended learning and the increased involvement of school districts that will hire these leaders.
