The move to overhaul the country's immigration policies has gained support from an alliance of business and religious groups, according to these reports. A group of more than 600 leaders from 40 states hope to convene with Republican lawmakers to urge them to discuss immigration reform, including a pathway to citizenship. "Part of our job is to keep pressing that timetable and keep pushing it up as much as you can," said Randel Johnson, of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
