The Pentagon's inspector general has raised concerns over Boeing charges for helicopter parts in four audits since 2008. Boeing installed used parts instead of new parts on some CH-47F Chinook helicopters, the inspector general found. "The bottom line is that using reworked parts rather than new parts increased Boeing’s profit," said Bridget Serchak, a spokeswoman for the inspector general.
