The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 features an Intel XMM 7160 multi-mode wireless modem, supporting Long-Term Evolution 2G/3G/4G bands, as well as GSM and HSPA. The tablet's processor is from Marvell Technology Group. Intel next year intends to offer a wireless modem chip that supports LTE-Advanced and Sprint's TD-LTE networks, according to Intel's Aicha Evans.
