LG Electronics today unveiled the G Pad 8.3, an 8-inch tablet equipped with a sharp display that the South Korean manufacturer says outdoes the iPad's "retina" technology. LG, which rolled out the tablet in its home country, plans to market the device to 30 countries by year-end in hopes of making inroads versus Apple during the holiday season. The G Pad, which marks LG's first tablet release in two years, features a 920-by-1,200 resolution at 273 pixels per inch.
