Canadian grocery retailer Loblaw will cut 275 people from its employment rolls in the next few days, with more than 200 of the cuts coming at the chain's Ontario headquarters, the company said Wednesday. Loblaw, which employs about 134,000, is making the cuts amid an increasingly competitive grocery landscape as US chains including Target, Wal-Mart and Costco expand their presence in the market.
