Locket is offering a toolkit to Android developers that allows them to publish directly to users' lock screens, Sarah Perez writes. The company is among the U.S. pioneers of the "first glance" interactive ads that appear on the lock screen to promote anything from movie ads to application and coupon downloads. Sears, Hershey's, Sunny D, Spotify and eBay are among the first advertisers using the format, which pays developers in tiny increments for integrating the app.
