A number of luxury hotels -- including New York's Pierre Hotel and West Virginia's Greenbrier -- are showcasing museum-quality art in guest suites, part of a trend that puts valuable art on display as a perk for guests who may be paying as much as $25,000 a night. "[T]he clientele who can afford the cost of these suites likely appreciate the arts and might even have their own collections, so it gives them an incentive to stay there," says Misty Ewing, director of public relations for travel agency network Virtuoso.
