Starbucks opens its first Teavana tea store and bar today in New York City, offering hot and cold drinks such as tea lattes. The store includes salad, flat bread and bakery items, and is a testing bed for the new tea territory after the company's $620 million purchase of Teavana Holdings. "This new store concept elevates the tea experience in the same way we've done for coffee," said Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz.
