Pastrami is making a comeback in American restaurants in non-traditional ways, showing up in burritos, egg rolls and chicken soup as more chefs embrace the New York City staple.
"What is old is new again," said chef Gayle Pirie. "People have always loved pastrami. And when a chef can bring a classic ingredient into a new dish, it's a win-win."
