PhRMA spokesman Mark Grayson said Tuesday that the pharmaceutical industry supports the Drug Quality and Security Act, which would set a 10-year timeline for a track-and-trace system. "This vital legislation will protect patients from counterfeit drugs by establishing a uniform, national system for securing the pharmaceutical distribution supply chain," PhRMA wrote in a letter to congressional leaders.
