Taiwanese researchers found men with prediabetes were 49% more likely than their normoglycemic counterparts to develop testosterone deficiency, and those with diabetes had a 50% increased odds of low testosterone. In addition, A1C levels between 5.7% and 6.4% were linked to a 46% increased risk of low testosterone compared with A1C below that range. The findings appear in PLOS One.
