Efforts to mandate minimum wage increases in California and on the federal level would affect the economy by pricing out young, inexperienced and low-skilled workers, and increasing the likelihood businesses will adopt automated technology to offset labor costs, CKE Restaurants CEO Andrew Puzder writes. Higher wages can be achieved by enacting business-friendly economic policies that encourage growth and job creation such as the model set by North Dakota, he writes.
