Mercedes-Benz reportedly has developed augmented-reality technology for its vehicle navigation systems that it will unveil next week at an AR conference in Munich, Germany, according to a post on The Augmented Blog. The automotive manufacturer's new In-Vehicle Infotainment System is said to use an in-dash display, instead of a heads-up display on the windshield, and will employ the company's Splitview technology to present different images to the driver and the front-seat passenger, the blog post says.
