Spotify and other music-streaming services are expected to be joined by Google's YouTube subsidiary, which is reportedly readying a paid music subscription service that could debut this year, The New York Times reports, citing people briefed on the company's plans. "We’re always working on new and better ways for people to enjoy YouTube content across all screens, and on giving partners more opportunities to reach their fans. However, we have nothing to announce at this time,” YouTube said in response to the report.
