In a study based on the Teen Health and Technology survey that included 5,139 U.S. teens, researchers found that 72% of lesbian girls said they had been sexually harassed in the past year compared with 66% of gay boys and bisexual girls. Regarding gender identities, 81% of transgender teens reported being victims of sexual harassment, compared with 69% of gender nonconforming teens. The findings appear in the journal Child Abuse and Neglect.
