Small and medium-size businesses added 102,000 jobs to the economy between August and September, out of a total 166,000 positions created, according to the September ADP National Employment Report. While the service sector added 147,000 jobs for the month, the financial sector lost 4,000 jobs. The business services sector, which includes accounting, auditing and tax preparation, added 27,000 positions to the national payroll.
