Sprint parent SoftBank has purchased majority control of Finnish gaming developer Supercell, the Japanese carrier disclosed Tuesday, and said today that it is in talks to acquire Brightstar, a closely held U.S.-based distributor of smartphones. Supercell will provide SoftBank with a deeper involvement in the booming mobile gaming business.
