Jeff Mummert, a high-school teacher and pioneer user of Google Glass, says he sees a future in augmented-reality technology in the classroom. Teachers in one district have used augmented-reality technology to bring the U.S. Constitution to life, and Mummert said he could use the Google Glass device on an archaeological dig and share findings with students. However, to effectively use such technology in K-12 education, some say schools first must set boundaries, establish policies and have effective content-creation tools in place.
