A high-throughput platform uses robotics and automation to test many compounds or drugs in a new technique for quickly screening human stem cells to control what they turn into. "The work allows for a better understanding of how to turn stem cells into clinically useful cell types more efficiently," said Emanuel Nazareth, a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto.
