A routine inspection of a North Dakota pipeline owned by Tesoro Logistics before the line spilled about 20,600 barrels of oil into a wheat farm in the state found anomalies, the company said. "We were awaiting results of the analysis of that inspection when the leak was reported," Tesoro spokeswoman Tina Barbee said. Corrosion could have led to the oil spill, according to state regulators.
