Wal-Mart Stores has begun shipping orders from an 800,000-square-foot fulfillment center in Fort Worth, Texas, and the retailer will open a 1-million-square-foot center early next year in Bethlehem, Pa., as part of a push to expand online offerings and make delivery quicker and cheaper. The Texas facility employs 275, and the Pennsylvania center, which will be Wal-Mart's largest, will boast more than 350 full-time workers, the company says.
