A project launched by a 17-year-old to combine computer modeling and biological studies for a flu vaccine and a "metallic exoskeleton glove" designed for those with hand disabilities were among 15 projects honored in Google's third annual Science Fair. And the Davidson Institute for Talent Development announced 20 winners of its fellowships, including a 17-year old with a hologram project using photonic crystals.
