While the general trend of women making less money than men has not changed, the wage gap can vary not only by geographic location but also by number of hours worked, marital status, age and more, this article shows. Among these statistics include a smaller gender wage gap for younger workers, as well as those who earned a college degree in architecture, and part-time female workers actually make more than part-time male workers. However, women who work over 50 hours per week experience a larger wage gap.
