The long-stalled American Dream Mall project is moving forward. Its developer, Triple Five, recently signed a Project Labor Agreement with labor unions, and has received a $390 million grant from New Jersey and $748 million in bond financing. The complex, before construction resumes, is worth $1.05 billion, according to a Cushman & Wakefield appraisal, and the developer expects it will cost an additional $1.9 billion to complete. More than 5,800 construction jobs are expected to be created.
