Appboy is adding a News Feed tool developers can use to make announcements to specific groups of users. The feature boosted click-thru rates for companies such as Urban Outfitters, Text+ and Bloomberg that tested it. "Using the [News Feed] product in conjunction with targeted push notifications helped us convert a significant portion of non-paying users into customers and increased our average revenue per user," Text+ CMO Tricia Bertero said.
