Restaurant chains are looking to innovative new bread options to appeal to millennial consumers, including Wendy's, which will follow up the success of its pretzel bun with the introduction a brioche burger bun next week. Others including Carl's Jr., Arby's, Smashburger, Subway and Culver's are putting more focus on bread, with new offerings including Hawaiian bread, artisan buns and flatbreads.
