Canada-based Energentium is in the final testing phase of a process to turn discarded beer, wine and soft drinks into ethanol at the company's new biorefinery in Ontario. The company expects to enter full production this month at the plant, which has a capacity of 4 million gallons per year. Besides ethanol, the plant will produce electricity, animal feed and other products, said General Manager Phil Artman.
