The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is telling swap-execution facilities run by Bloomberg, MarketAxess Holdings and Tradeweb Markets that they need to adjust their access rules. CFTC Chairman Gary Gensler said the platforms are giving banks too much control over who can trade with their customers. "What they are doing right now is a violation of Dodd-Frank and our rules," Gensler said. "They need to come into compliance."
