Two couples lost a lawsuit to reclaim their initiation fees after resigning their club membership when a judge ruled that by signing on the dotted line when they joined, they agreed to all its terms and conditions, which included a long wait for reimbursement. The couples had claimed they were not made aware of such provisions.
