Possible contamination with E. coli O157:H7 prompted Whole Foods Market to recall ready-to-eat Southwest SooFoo Salad and Artichoke Wheatberry Salad in Northern California. The affected products, with expiration dates Nov. 9 to 13, were sold at the company's locations in Walnut Creek, San Mateo, Redwood City, San Francisco, Napa, Los Gatos, Lafayette, Oakland, Fremont and Capitola. The move was a response to Glass Onion Catering's recall earlier this week of about 181,620 pounds of sandwich wraps and ready-to-eat salads.
