Recovering global demand helped emerging economies last month achieve their best rate of growth since March, as gauged by the HSBC Emerging Markets Index. October's expansionary reading of 51.7 was up from 50.7 the previous month. "The continued gains in China data are particularly encouraging, substantiating our view that fresh stimulus has helped growth find a floor," Simon Williams, Middle East economist at HSBC Holdings, said while projecting sustained growth through the remainder of the year.
