The General Services Administration is working to clean up corporate and public-sector procurement through an initiative called the Sustainable Supply Chain Community of Practice. By helping suppliers and stakeholders share information and find opportunities for efficiency, the project serves as a model for public-private collaboration on environmental issues, write Tim Laseter and Nancy Gillis.
