IBM debuted an ad campaign today that calls out Amazon as a competitor and touts Big Blue's broader reach for cloud-computing services. The campaign from IBM, which "rarely mentions competitors in any of its advertisements," according to this report, will run in outdoor, print and online and comes after IBM lost a $600 million CIA contract to the e-commerce giant. "Whose cloud powers 270,000 more websites than Amazon? If your answer is IBM, you're among the well informed," one ad reads.
