Drone industry backers in Nevada are hoping that state will win its bid to be a test site for the Federal Aviation Administration's integration of drones into the commercial airspace, a designation, they say, that could boost the state's economy. "It won't just be the FAA testing," said Tom Wilczek, Nevada's aerospace and defense specialist. "It's the potential for organic growth ... Not only would there be a manufacturing platform here for civilian and humanitarian uses, but there also would be large numbers of suppliers."
