Sixty Hotels, formed from the exit of Thompson Hotels from Commune Hotels & Resorts, will seek to strengthen its portfolio and brand identity alongside the evolution of the boutique segment to encompass a wider range of customer demographics, co-founder Jason Pomeranc said. "We're a more mature brand, and the level of service, aesthetic and identity ... will be a touch more sophisticated. These neighborhoods have evolved, particularly since we (originally) opened these projects," Pomeranc said. "There is a much more diverse audience today that is more internationally diverse than was the case when we opened these hotels." Pomeranc identified New York, London, Los Angeles and Miami as the brand's main growth targets.
