The Pennsylvania House has given the green light to a $2.3 billion plan to fund repairs of bridges and roads. "Voting for a comprehensive transportation plan will keep our transportation system safe and efficient, improve the state's economy, and improve the quality of life for our 12 million-plus residents," Gov. Tom Corbett said. The plan seems similar to one that was already passed by the state Senate, according to Senate Republican spokesman Erik Arneson.
