Twenty-three percent of respondents to a Gallup survey say they would rather work for a female boss if given the choice. That figure "is the highest in the history of Gallup's asking this question since 1953," Gallup notes. Interestingly, the data show that women are actually more likely than their male peers to say they would prefer to work for a man. A plurality of respondents indicated that the gender of their boss was not important to them.
