Cybersecurity legislation first proposed in July will be formally attached to a bill to fund the Defense Department in an effort to move the measure toward full adoption. The Cybersecurity Act of 2013 -- which supports new research and educational campaigns and would create voluntary industry standards -- will be introduced today by Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., as a rider to the National Defense Authorization Act.
