Starbucks first Teavana tea shop in New York City has a different feel than the company's coffee shops, and it has introduced new cups tailored to tea. The cup is designed to mimic porcelain china with double walled insulation to eliminate the cardboard sleeves and a lid with a wider spout for easier sipping. "Even though today's life forces most of us to be on the go, drinking tea is a traditional ritual," said Daniele Monti, Starbucks' creative director for emerging brands.
