Mobile commerce has yet to achieve favor among a majority of U.S. and U.K. holiday shoppers, but 45% expect to do product research and 55% say they'll be "showrooming" with their mobile devices this year, according to an SDL survey. "Our study shows that consumers' preferences and behaviors can shift considerably from year to year, from country to country. Organizations that are able to consistently deliver compelling and engaging experiences, across media and geographies, are those that are poised to be successful this holiday season," said SDL's Mark Lancaster.
