ViaSat grew its revenues by 25% from a year ago as the company's Exede satellite-based broadband unit netted 41,000 subscribers in its most recent quarter. ViaSat, which has 590,000 Internet customers, outpaced analysts estimates as net income rose to $9.3 million, compared with a $1.9 million loss a year ago. "We also achieved double-digit revenue increases across all our business segments, including government services," said CEO Mark Dankberg.
