Drinking water from a plastic bottles or cups that contain bisphenol A could be the cause of migraines, according to a new study published in the journal Toxicological Sciences. Researchers at the University of Kansas Medical Center found that rats exposed to BPA showed migraine-like symptoms. "These results imply that BPA has the ability to amplify symptoms that are used to diagnose the disorder in human patients, suggesting that exposure to BPA would increase both the incidence and prevalence of this disorder," the researchers wrote.
