Beginning at the start of the 2014 school year, Brazil will distribute more than 460,000 tablet computers to school teachers, Education Minister Aloizio Mercadante said. The plan previously included giving tablets to students, but it now calls for teachers to act as digital inclusion "hubs". However, it is estimated that just about 60,000 secondary schools in the country have Wi-Fi Internet access.
