The Colorado Department of Education is working with teachers to create online resources aligned with the Common Core State Standards that will be available by March. Teachers are writing and testing 130 instructional units with assessment tools and resources to aid the transition to common core and providing a place for educators to start building lessons specific to their students. "This is generated by teachers, relevant to teachers and teacher-driven," said Brian Sevier, who heads the District Sample Curriculum Project.
