Health officials in Qatar have identified Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus in three camels from a barn associated with two human cases of the virus. Bats and camels have been implicated in transmission of the virus to humans. MERS was previously identified in a camel in Saudi Arabia, and officials have found antibodies to the virus in camels from other countries in the Middle East.
