Boyd Anderson High School students in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla., expect to spend the next year gathering names of people buried in a 5-acre cemetery and creating a website to tell the stories of the dead. The students chose to preserve the legacy of those buried -- which include military veterans and a baby -- after learning the landmark was nearly destroyed during the expansion of a highway. "People who were buried here never got their story told ... to leave them haphazardly here would be disrespectful," said student Aneesa Bahman.
