London-based high-end workout wear retailer Sweaty Betty opened its first two U.S. stores this year and plans to open a third in 2014, aiming to win over Americans with yoga and gym fashions that sell for more than pieces from Lululemon Athletica. Sweat-wicking fabrics and other high-tech features are the reason for the higher prices, according to Sweaty Betty, which says online sales in America have grown 200% since the 2010 launch of its U.S. website.
