China's desire for Western-style products and education strategies is being credited for creating an emerging market for US companies. Areas of interest include English-language acquisition, college preparation and recruitment, and early-childhood education, curriculum and content management. "We've got a lot of really great initiatives going on in China," said Mark Dorman, the president of McGraw-Hill Education's international division. "There's no secret that China is a big, exciting market. We're not the only ones who think that."
